Holy week begins with Palm Sunday and continues with Good Friday & Resurrection Sunday. This remains one of the most important Holidays of our Christian calendar.  We celebrate Resurrection Sunday by looking at 1 Corinthians 15:12-22. To sum up this segment here are some helpful headings: Resurrection Matters Eternally, Resurrection Is the Foundation of Our Faith, If Christ is Not Resurrected No One Is, Jesus’ Resurrection Ensures Our Resurrection.  Paul wrote this to Christians who doubted that they would be bodily resurrected from the dead.  Paul wrote to reassure us that just as surly as Jesus was raised from the dead so too will we one day.  This has life giving implications for God’s people; it means that this life is NOT the end!  If this life isn’t all that there is then we’re empowered to live for God instead of living ultimately just for this life here and now.
