We can’t always control the issues in life that we face; but by God’s Grace we can view things through the lens of our true identity. As Christians our worth and our identity are solely founded upon the person and work of Jesus Christ.

In Philippians, Paul writes from prison to encourage and instruct the people of the Church! Throughout the letter Paul speaks of joy multiple times; which should be the default attitude for all of God’s people. By focusing on our true “Identity in Christ” Paul was able to earnestly write from prison: “Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice.”  Grace and Peace to you, Pastor Kevin.
